Life according to me. I was born on April 27, 2008 and have many things to say. My parents blogged about me before I was born and right after I arrived. I feel that the time has come for me to say it directly to you. I feel sure my parents will have something to say every now and then.

What I think about naps...
Hi again! Twice in one day, I know, but I have lots to say! So much so that I don't like to sleep!
Mommy and Daddy say that I sleep like a champ at night. Last night I snoozed from about 9 pm until almost 5 am and woke up hungry, hungry, hungry. Daytime is a very different story. I don't like to sleep when I am at home...I might miss something! I ride in the car, I sleep; go to GinGin and Biggie's, I sleep; church nursery, I sleep; Costco, Publix, most places, I sleep. At home, I get so excited, I must stay awake; Mommy might get lonely. That was what I was telling her yesterday when I started laughing at her. She thought I was asleep (in my pumpkin seat, where I sleep most of the time, including night--a different blog topic!) and then my eyes popped open and there she was! I had to smile really big at her.
Here is a little video of my smiling and laughing. I was telling Mommy that she will miss me if I sleep...
My best friend Henry

This is my doggie Henry. He lived with Mommy and Daddy before I was born and they spoiled him. (I'm not sure what "spoiled" is, but since he gets to sleep on their bed, my guess is that it means something good!) I love Henry very much and he loves me too. He likes to give me kisses on the feet mainly, hands occasionally; and if he is really sneaky he helps me clean off my face! I try to kiss back, but I haven't quite gotten the hang of that yet!
Mommy says that I smiled at Henry before I smiled at anyone else. Isn't that the way it should be? He is my best buddy! I think he will like it when I can share my cookies with him.

Have a good day!

My friends Troy and Randi

These are my friends Troy and Randi. They came to visit me in the hospital when I was one day old!! Troy is not feeling very well, so I want them to know that I love them very much. I hope to see them again very soon.
Troy, when Mommy and Daddy and I say my prayers at night, we will keep remembering you. I hope that my friends who read this will remember them too. I love you bunches!

Sunday, June 8, 2008--My baptism

I had a very busy day yesterday. I was baptized at Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church. Daddy, Mommy, and I all got up at 4:30 AM just to make sure that we got there on time! (Well really I started the trend in getting up so early--I wanted to play and look at my blinds!) As you can see from the picture, I had to wear this really long dress. It is a very pretty, very old (95 years) christening gown. My great-grandmother, grandmother, great-aunt, aunt, uncle, and all my cousins wore it. Kinda cool! As you can tell from the picture, I was awake at the beginning of the service and then went back to sleep.
Rev. Dalton and Bishop Bob held me during the service. Bishop Bob, shown in the picture, actually put some water on my head. He is the same person that baptized my mommy and my cousins Ella and Walker. He was also one of the ministers that married my mommy and daddy. Rev. Dalton walked me up and down the isle to introduce me to all the people in the congregation.
As you can see, I continued to sleep after the service and during the luncheon that the big people had for me. (I think they like an excuse to have a party!) I didn't really wake up until I got home yesterday afternoon...about 5 seconds after Mommy and Daddy laid down to take a nap. I was well-rested and ready to play! :)
It doesn't look like it in these pictures, but I am excited to learn about Jesus...my cousins are at Vacation Bible Camp this week and I can't wait to be big enough to go. There are a lot of people at the church who have been very sweet to me and seem to love me a lot.
Time for me to go night-night. Have a good week!

Where I get my thoughts -
It's about time...
I had my my own blog. As you know my mommy and daddy blogged about me when I was in mommy's tummy. You can find their work here.
About my blog - A dear old friend of mine (friend of 5 weeks and 1 day to be exact) has his very own blog and I feel that if he can do it so can I. Drew is very creative with his blog and I am not sure if he has help from his parents or not. I kind of think he does because getting all those funny looking picutes off the square flash box. It is not easy when you do not have complete control of your head is a little hard. I finally figured out why they like that square looking flash box, it makes some neat pictures. Mommy and daddy would read me Drew's blog when I was in mommy's tummy and the Drew came to visit me a few weeks ago. I feel bad that I slept through the visit. What's a tired girl to do? Well there was some rumbly (see I learned that word from my friend Winnie the Pooh - he does not like rumbly in his tumbly nor do I) while Drew was here. It seems that daddy and Drew's daddy were talking about the 'what if' Drew and I got married - I really think that daddy and Drew's daddy liked that possibility of how the reception would turn out. They are silly. So stop on by and say hi to Drew.
Well I turned 5 weeks old yesterday. It was a fun and exciting day, I went to church. I liked the singing and the colorful glass windows. It was fun to be there, I like the music better than people talking. After church I hung out on my quilt and looked at my self. It was fun. I did all this in between getting my beauty sleep.
Well last night my mommy and daddy stayed up with me until midnight as I was not ready to go to bed. Silly mommy and daddy to think I was to go to bed at 10. I did help them out and not let them know I was ready to get up an eat until around 5 this morning. It was a good night.
I will post more as time allows in between naps and my busy schedule. I'f off to dream about Winnie the Pooh and his friends search for more honey.
Im still figuring out this blog thingy so it may take me a little longer to post a picture (or video - as I am an overachiever).
