Haven't posted in a while...
Hi friends,
I hope you are doing well! I haven't posted in a while, mainly because my scribe was a crazy woman for about 2 months...one day Mommy will have to explain to me this whole concept of grants and salary support. OK, enough with that boring talk...onto more fun stuff. Things have been pretty quiet around the house, unless I am there. Last Sunday, for example, I woke up and started talking and I didn't stop until we hit the doors at church and then, of course, I clammed up. I like to "sing" although I'm not quite ready for the church choir or opera house. And most of the time, I like to make up my own words to the songs. Take a look at the video and you can hear a little bit of my singing. Not super clear, but hey, it's coming along!
In addition to songs, I like to speak in full sentences (well, sort of) and have conversations with big people. One morning Daddy was playing with me before school and as usual we moved from room to room to room. I wandered into Mommy and Daddy's room and found her new shoes. My first response to Daddy was "I need those". Daddy's response was "No, you don't need those; those are Mommy's shoes". Me, "Mommy's shoes, cute shoes, Mommy." And my standard response when Mommy asks me on our way home from school what I did, "I play."
Well, it's about time for bed. I'll try to encourage my scribe to do better. Much love and sweet dreams!
