Halloween 2009 and recent updates

Hi there!

At little delayed, but I wanted to share some pictures and stories from Halloween. Thanks to GinGin, I was a bunny rabbit. I got to wear my costume at school on the Friday before and happily wore my rabbit ears that day. However, on Saturday, after going to see my sweet neighbor, Mrs. Yeilding, I refused. If anyone got close, I screamed, shook my head furiously, and used the ever-popular "Nooo-oooo" statement; hence the reason my Daddy is wearing my ears. Oh well! I did thoroughly enjoy my M&Ms (just like my mommy), complete with an "ummmhhh..." after each (4 total vs. my mommy's handfuls--what is that?) piece. Mommy and Daddy were not as diligent about pictures this year, but they (i.e., Daddy, just to be fair) had a little bit less control of the subject this year.

Things are well. Daddy and I just spent a wonderful 4 nights together as Mommy had to travel to Philadelphia for a meeting. We aren't crazy about being separated from each other, but Daddy and I did well. We had all kinds of outings, visits with friends, dinners with family...lots of fun! I even let Daddy put me to sleep each night and gave him those wonderful hugs (enough to help him overcome his 5 AM wakeup given my 5:45 wakeups). Tight squeezes around the neck are my signature. We have even perfected the "Amen" for my prayers. Still loving my dolls and I love art (not taking after Mommy OR Daddy in this respect) and writing (not taking after Daddy for those of you who have seen his handwriting). Give me a pen and it is like I'm writing my first novel! And then I proceed to put stickers (a word I can very clearly say) from my Mickey Mouse Clubhouse book on both of my cheeks...

Well, thanks for checking on me. I hope that you are well.

Much love and sweet dreams,
MH
