Thanksgiving at the Beach

Hi Friends,

It had been a while since I have posted, sorry.

We went to the beach for Thanksgiving and had a great time. The weather was great until the evening before we came home.





Biggie and GinGin were at the beach with us which made for a great holiday. We were able to fly GinGin's 2 kites. One had a whale on it and the other has a froggie on it.

This was the first time I really liked the sand and beach. I like it so much I decided lay in the sun for a few....seconds.





On our last day at the beach it was the big day for the Alabama/ Auburn game. There were some creative people on the beach.

Halloween and a Haircut!

Hi friends,

Hope you all are well! Daddy posted a few pictures of me from Halloween, but I thought I'd give you a little update. As you can see I was a puppy dog with a pink bow. I loved it and did a great job of keeping my hat on and I even learned how to wag my tail. Daddy put me in the car in my costume and I told him that I was sitting on something. We figured out that it was my tail...now I know how Henry feels!







On Friday, we had a party at school and then saturday we had a neighborhood party. Sunday was the big day for trick or treating! We went to Biggie and GinGin's house, P-Paw and CeCe's, and a few of the neighbors' houses. A pretty low key Halloween, but I LOVED the candy!

Now, on to the haircut! It was finally time to get a little trim because the combover was no longer controllable with a bow. We went after school one day and I did great! Of course I was bribed with gummy bunnies, but it worked well. I liked sitting in the chair with the cape. The water squirter was a little much but I survived.









Oh, and one more thing...

My favorite Bible story right now is about the boy who shared his lunch. One night Mommy finished the story and was asking me what I would share with Jesus. I decided that I would share my bop-bop (paci). Mommy and Daddy were proud. We decided that Jesus would like to share my bop-bop!

Breakfast with Mickey & the Main Street Electrical Parade

Good morning friends,

Yesterday was a busy busy day. I started with breakfast at Chef Mickey's and enjoyed all of it. The food was good but the company was better. These pictures rill show you how much we enjoyed it.





















After a busy morning we went to Epcot for a while a d the returned for a nap.




After a nap I got to go back to the pool and slide down my favorite water slide (daddy needs to take pictures of me doing this).

After dinner we went to the Main Street Electrical Parade and I got to sit on Daddy's shoulders. The lights were great.

Magic Kingdom - Dumbo or bust October 9, 2010

Hi friends,

Yesterday, Saturday, we spent the morning at the Magic Kingdom and rode Dumbo, Cinderella's Carousel, and Winnie the Pooh. It was a great morning. Before we left I got to see these ducks as we headed to the bus stop. They were only a few feet from my stroller.






After lunch and a needed Nap we headed to Epcot for dinner at the Italy Pavilion Here I am playing on the beautiful tower.

Mickey Mouse's House

Good morning!

Yesterday Mommy, Daddy and I rode in an airplane to Mickey Mouse's house. The airplane was blue and I loved watching out my window.

I got to go see the trains at the Germany Pavilion in Epcot and to the pool at the resort. I even figured out how to go down the small water slide. To say I loved it would be an understatement. I bet I went down it 30 times.

It's Been a While...

Hi friends,

Well, it's been a little while, hasn't it? We have been very busy! My delayed blogging is mostly due to time being spent packing and moving to a new house. On September 23, Daddy, Mommy, Henry, and I moved into a new house. We are all very excited. As sad as it was to leave our little home, it was time for more space. The first weekend we were in the house I told Daddy to "go away". I figured out that he doesn't have to be in my space every moment! (Mommy's commentary: Sassy words are typically not appropriate but in this case, we can't really blame the girl given that we were all so "cozy" at the other house!) As you can see from the pictures, I'm doing my best to help Henry adjust by giving him lots of hugs and kisses. Isn't my pink room pretty?! (Mommy's commentary: The guy who painted for us said that it was like the Pink Panther exploded, but the furniture tones it down a bit!)

Mommy, Henry, and I have been on some great walks. I have a new park at which to play. Daddy introduced me to the car wash last week AND the pet store is very close to my house. I love going to see the pretty fish and "organizing" all of the dog and cat toys! It now takes us about 30 seconds to get to church. Everyone is happy and enjoying our new place! Oh, and the best part: I have a pool in my house (not in the backyard--it's inside!) Of course all the right features are in place to keep me safe.

My pigtails...

Hi!

Just a quick update about my hair...

I am officially wearing pigtails these days. My teachers are usually the ones that put them in. Occasionally I'll let Mommy do it, but usually I'm a moving target in the mornings.

Silly Henry...

Hi friends,

I haven't written much about Henry lately, but he is still doing well. Summertime is a little rough on him because it is so hot, but he is hanging in there with our walks and playtime outside. He is a very silly doggie. For example, on Saturday Henry and I were in the backyard while Mommy watered her plants. I was playing on my slide and all of a sudden Henry decided he wanted to go down the slide too! So, he used the stairs and came to stand with me on a the top. He then "slid" down and then hopped back up. Of course, I followed.

He's so silly!

Today's Mary Hudson-ism

Given that MH is talking more now, some pretty funny things are coming out of her mouth! Tonight, for example, we were getting out of the car and a couple was running past. The woman (OK, "girl" is probably more fair) was running in her sports bra. MH's response: "Momma, her need her clothes on!"

My new snack

Hi!

After waking up from a nice nap last weekend (notice the extra curly hair!), Mommy made me a new snack. Nilla wafers with peanut butter. At first I resisted, but as you can see from the picture, I came to love the yummy little creations. Biggie was very proud (although he likes ALOT more peanut butter on his!).
